Grant Overview

​

TechConnect makes grants to educational or charitable organizations based in the United States with activities that are consistent with our Mission. Preference is given to locally based organizations in the Northern NJ or the Tri-State Area.

Ineligible Requests

​

TechConnect will not consider grants for the following types of activities or entities:

• Organizations that discriminate in either policy or practice against people because of their age, race, national origin, ethnicity, creed, gender, sexual orientation, or disability; or

• Lobbying or political organizations, elections or candidates; or

• Individual requests for personal grants or other funding; or

• For-profit businesses.

Grant Process

​

The application process includes two stages, Preliminary Application and Proposal. The Preliminary Application submission form can be accessed below and will request basic information about your organization and its needs. If the submission is consistent with our Mission and giving guidelines, you will be sent the Proposal form to be completed and returned to us. The TechConnect Board of Trustees will review all submitted Proposal forms at its next quarterly scheduled board meeting and provide a decision to your organization thereafter. If your organization is awarded a grant through this process, we will require a final report be submitted for the purposes of our recordkeeping, reporting requirements, and impact assessments.
